Kerem Colak
Mobile apps and backend systems built with Swift, React Native, TypeScript, and AWS.
Recent work spans connected vehicles, backend services, and app projects that need both a solid interface and reliable infrastructure.
Projects
A few projects across mobile, backend, and systems work.
This includes work projects, research prototypes, and two apps currently in progress.
Prism
An iPhone and iPad app in progress for running AI models locally, with chat, model management, prompt inspection, exports, and performance stats.
Tava
A local-first iPhone app in progress that turns grocery receipts into kitchen inventory and recipe suggestions, with AI-assisted receipt parsing and on-device storage.
High-Performance Query Engine
A parallel SQL query engine in C++ for multi-GB TPC-H datasets, with analytical operators and window functions.
Connected Vehicle Platform Components
Backend and proxy services for Android Automotive platforms, covering VISSv2 communication, secure APIs, and AWS deployment patterns.
Decentralized Identity Prototype
A research prototype for decentralized identity in automotive systems using Hyperledger Aries, DID/VC standards, and Flutter.
Experience
Experience across connected vehicles, backend services, and cloud work.
Most of it has been hands-on work: vehicle interfaces, identity research, backend services, and AWS infrastructure.
